Since I won’t have enough time to review it before the end of the year, Soul isn’t going to be considered. It will, however, be my first review for 2021. And this will also be my last post for the year.
I’m going to take the next week to rest, relax, and recharge my mind and also start working on some changes for the new year.

This was just an adorable movie. I loved how it’s one of the few films that don’t push forgiveness on kids just because the person hurting you is family. The kids all have a wonderful dynamic with each other and their personalities balance out nicely. The music is also very good.
I just thought the love story at the heart of this movie was so well-done and built up, that when the boyfriend died – you could understand the grief and why she was so upset. The mourning process is portrayed really well and isn’t solved by finding another boyfriend.
The animation was beautiful as well.

“Extraluminary” is still stuck in my head, in a good way and it was a better representation of Chinese culture than the new Mulan movie, and without the icky help of the Chinese government…so that’s all a win in my book.
Just an absolute joy of a movie in every way. It’s something I plan to watch again and again. It’s beautiful, sad, joyous, and just a feast for the eyes and soul.
Wolfwalkers was an absolute joy, worth the wait
